Title: I found a 59 i'm trying to work out a deal .
Post by: c1run1 on May 22, 2011, 10:16:39 pm: Pretty much a rust free car it will need a repair in the back as some one pulled a panel off and fender to pull a motor ?
he's asking 2,500 .00 i think it's pretty fair but i'd like it a bit cheaper .
I have not even started negotiations yet i'm waiting to on some more info of the motor .
I hope i can sell my 61 soon it would help alot .

Would be cool if it was a gas heater control...but I've never seen one that looked like that.

Is it wired to the windshield wiper motor? If so, it may be a rheostat for a 12 volt conversion.

Note i have the Flue so i'm not thinking right aftermarket gas gauge .

Post by: Baha (Shawn) on June 03, 2011, 10:10:28 pm: You turn the knob and it blows air into the bottom of the tank. If it makes BIG bubbles you have a lot of gas. If it makes a little bubble sound, time for gas &^rofl

Here's a look at the switch up is for a little air down is for more air in case you can't hear it .
It's on the other side of the knob .
