How or Can I, make my older computer read a 4GB SD card? :confused04:; It only reads up to 2GB, if I put a 4GB it don't read it.
-
Matt wants to know what it does, does an error message pop up? What kind of computer and what operating system?

Go to Best Buy and get a USB external card reader for about 15 bucks and call it a day.

If you're talking about a computer with an SD slot built in, go to the manufacturers website and download the latest driver for the SD reader.

OK after 20 mins. trying to download drivers this is what I found out, NO drivers to to make a SD card reader to read SDHC cards. Below is what others do. I should just went with Easy. (o;
First I tried to buy a really cheap SDHC reader for about $4.99. It was really bad and would very seldom work properly. I took the unit back to the store, they tested it and found it was crappy too--I got one of the two cheap units to work, but they could not get any of them to go.
I upgraded to the more expensive model SDHC card reader that was $9.99 and that one worked like a champ--completely reliable. Both of these were junky made in China units.
