Glen,
I forgot to give you the carb! No worries I'll bring it to ice cream cruise. I'm just glad pinky could go to a good home and she won't be parted out. BTW... Awesome pics, the one with Jen pointing to the engine in the trunk made me laugh.

Not having much luck finding the autobody paint in pink, but then I don't have the experience with this that you all do.

Mix Red & whit laquers to get the right shade of PANK
Isn't it really hard to paint a car well to have no drips, runs, blobs, etc? To get that smooth glossy finish like they show on the pics in their link? Doesn't look like something the average Joe or Karen could do easily.

At the risk of more smiting...
Laquer (which has fallen out of favor because of the environmental nuts) can be painted in the worst conditions and still be made gorgeous.
My old baja was painted right where it is sitting in the photo, no booths, not even a garage, and I've got 2 best paint trophies for that car. It's all in the prep and post paint blocking.
now time to suffer the slings and arrows

Beautiful... look at that shine! 2@@cool ( still don't think I could do it though..lol)
All I'm saying is drips, blobs, runs, fades, and dull R--------M aren't noticeable if your VW is running 65 mph down the road. :) :)
Karen, VW people do what they want, so whatever makes ya happy, ya do :)
And, if ya want beautiful paint, there is only one word to know
"Frank"
Oh yes, Frank's the man! (hail- *+youth
haha thats funny ,
Good luck with Pinky
So what's the update on Pinky? Running? For Sale?
Not for sale. Some how I ended up with it lol. My uncle wants to fix it for his daughter..... Someday
