Title: Visit To Rich's
Post by: lovebus (jack) on September 25, 2011, 06:20:14 pm
Had a good time today to see Rich D. at his home in Brick. First we filled our bellies for the ride at Red Lion then off we went. It was nice shooting the bull with Rich and he is still upbeat 2@@cool despite his disability. Was great to see you again Rich!!! We had a lot of comments from passerby's about all the VW's parked in front of his house.  PHOTOS (https://picasaweb.google.com/103751315247720367757/VisitRich#) It was a clear road all the way up and only made one stop so Shawn could go shopping at Home Depot.

No fear Celly, M can wheel that bus like a Pros Pro.

Looks like you all had a great visit, and I'm sure Rich was happy to see everyone.  Hope the neighbors enjoyed the mini impromptu VW show!  clap2-*

Rich looked good, I hope you gave him my best.

Sorry I could not make it as Kathy and I have this event we attend every year. Plus Saturday was our annual family reunion and Crab Fest.

This morning I was in no shape to travel or eat breakfast.  @#vomit

Nice cruise with the club!  Chester behaved himself for me... that was good.  It was great to see Rich!!  I definitely miss having him around! He's such a positive person and he's not going to let this illness keep him couped up much longer.  He's going to find alternative ways to drive. His wife Carol was so nice and such a gracious hostess!  (Can't believe those chocolate cookies were fat free!!)

Thanks Jack for putting this together!     clap2-*
