Since we have such a variety of talent and personalities on this site, I was wondering what people's occupations are..... or were, if you've since retired.
That same suggestion was brought up at a BOD's meeting by Marc/3gear. I think we are going to have an official board on the subject, stand by.

A family friend worked down there as a welder. Got laid off the week before Christmas. You would think someone would step in and pick it up, instead of it just closing.
i worked for new jersey network for the last 30 years as a cameraman. this past july 1st i retired when [gunfiring\ christie closed us down after over 40 years as nj's public television station. i now do a few days a week at my buddy's vw business doing his online sales of old and nos vw parts. thumpup)-

My official title is Manager of Systems and Database Technology at Nemours/A.I. duPont Hospital for Children in Wilmington, DE responsible for about 700 24/7 major systems that control everything from a kids infusion drip pump to the systems that run the building air conditioning WWW.NEMOURS.ORG. I travel a lot to Florida because our organization is building a second world class childrens hospital in Orlando.
I still can't replace push rod seals in less than an hour so wahoo for me.

Well, if someone doesn't buy us by July..we are closing..Marcus Hook is already done, along with Trainer which was Conoco-Philips. Get ready because everyone may be paying as much for gas as we are fro bridge tolls. THE SELLING OF AMERICA..( cheap gas from overseas where they don't have any concerns with pollution..etc. ) If we close...I'll retire like my buddy byeby.,
