Greg, the band gave a stellar performance!! Thank you for donating your time and energy to the benefit.

Everyone that participated in the blinded free throw contest ~  YOU ROCK!!     ^NO1) /?trophy?/

We had a great time,  although as you could tell, Matthew was wiped out and we needed to leave the diner and head home.   Thank goodness he had his little pillow and blanket, because he slept during our harrowing 2 hour ride home.   The NJ Turnpike, for a long stretch, was very dangerous.  It was a blizzard, the road disappeared beneath snow and ice (you could see shiny spots underneath the snow),  cars, trucks, and tractor trailers were off the road, police everywhere,  and the vehicles lucky enough to still be on the road and moving were attempting to determine where the lanes were.   It was a sight to see!     Still, we wouldn't have missed it for the world, were happy to see everyone,  and participate in such a great event!!!      clap2-*

Thanks Karen, we had a blast! The majority of the music last night was ment for a full 45 piece marching band but it turned out to be perfect for the Brass5. I got a little choke up when Isabelle was singing Somewhere. She's a smart girl and a great musician. I know ppl twice her age who do not know how to work with an ensemble. It was great seeing everyone last night, hopefully we got a lot of video to show rich. I'm sure he is eager to watch them.

Isabelle's performance, especially considering she had a bad cold and was a little hoarse,  was incredible.   I'll admit, I was crying.  She's such a cutie, and a courageous little girl  with a loving, supportive family and good friends.

This was a great event... I think they were able to raise a lot of money. Greg - the band was great! I was so choked up and tear-filled when Isabelle sang Somewhere Over the Rainbow. What an amazing child!! I think it was really sweet of her grandma to give Glen the "IZ Ball" - just shows what a good family we did this for!

Can't wait to see some of the pics and video. Hope Jack got my 3-pointer... since it was my only one I had after trying for 10 minutes (good timing Jack!).  Kudos to all who did the free-throws blind-folded in front of everyone! And Karen - that was so sweet of you to donate the jewelry & rice cooker! We all know Jen is happy (Glen is totally eating rice today...) Glad you made it home safely last night Karen, sounds nasty... we hit one bad town on Rt 70 where you couldn't see pavement, but everywhere else had the roads pretty clear.

I'm sure Rich will be very proud!!   =+grouphu9

Glad Everyone made it home safely.
