The Club Picnic will be here before you know it, plan on saving the day to join us June, 24th
Where: Washington Lake Park.
Bring your favorite dish with you for everyone to enjoy.
You may also bring a guest, and as always our picnic is open to Non-Members also.
Let us know if you plan to attend
More on the food to follow.
=+grouphu9
FYI, for the new members, I will have available SJVWC and collector Punch Buggy shirts, decals, and paper Solo cups that substitute for SJVWC mugs there for purchase. So, if you want to look like a JackWagen, drink coffee like a JackWagen, and have SJVWC decals on your VW like a JackWagen, this is your opportunity. thumpup)-
As a reminder, all proceeds go to the club to fund stuff like the picnic and the famous Holiday party. 2@@cool
I'm working on one of a kind 'SJVWC Picnic' shirts.
And a Treasure Hunt/Poker contest with tools as a prize.
Keep the date open. This has always been one of our best events.

Charcoal
Okay! I will bring a big bag of charcoal.
Thanks to everyone that has responded so far! 2@@cool
I've made sure to cross off the things on the list that everyone mentioned. Again, feel free to be creative... but there are still some important items that we need. For instance, Marty is bringing the charcoal to cook with (yeah!), but we still need cooking utensils. If you haven't responded, please check the list and let us know.
This picnic is always a good time and a great event to bring the whole family!! **^bana0
Can we get a head count? I don't think I'll be able to bring enough soda and iced tea for everyone !
Other then the people that say they are bringing something trying to get a head count is like pulling teeth. :confused04:;
That question was asked in the first post of this thread.
But to answer your question, JoAnn, Kelly, Steve and I will be there.
From the responses so far, looks like about 24 people (if I'm guessing the # of kids right too). We typically have between 30-40 people show up. Check back closer to the date and I'll try to get a better count.
Mr and mrsmuggy will be there
Jen and I will be there don't know what we are bringing yet.. &^beer&
Glen, you ( or someone else) could always bring some soda and/or iced tea too. It's a lot to bring for one person, so it would be easier if divided among a few.
I will be there with my hubby, Lance, and two kiddos. :)

I'll be bringing Curry Chicken!
Ok I checked out the picnic site this morning. It is mostly all shady in the trees, there is about 9 picnic tables with a group of two on a concrete pad that looks perfect for the main table. There are about 9 grills too. The first parking lot is where we should park facing the walking trail as we will be seen by loads of people. An Ez-up tent is probably a good idea. It's a very pretty site and I closed my eyes and I could hear the faint whistling of the JackWagen birds nestled in the trees.
