Good Morning All
Yesterday 6/30/12, I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. George Gallagher. After speaking with him on the phone he was finally able to come over to my house and help me get my 1915cc engine started. Unfortunately, I was scammed by a gentleman(?) from Canada who built me a new engine but did some unscruplous work in doing so. George has been kind enough to come out and help me get the engine/car roadworthy. Yesterday he got it started but he will have to return as there is still more work to be done. I wanted to let the group know that I thank you for putting me in touch with Mr Gallagher and I want to thanks Mr. Gallagher for his assistance. As a disabled police officer it is nice to finally meet an honest person to help me out in my time of need. I hope to meet you all in the near future even though I'm some 60 miles away from where you hold your meetings. Fortunately I have a future son-in -law who lives close by to where you hold the meetings so if I can't physically drive there he might be able to take me. I look forward to seeing George again and look forward to meeting all you guys in the club.
Fraternally,
Bob Maniaci

I think you hit it on the head when you said "it's nice to finally meet an honest person to help"
That describes George perfectly. Plus he knows what he is talking about.
Thanks George.

Welcome Bob,
That was well said, George is a great guy and a great mechanic. Hope to meet you and your son in law soon.

George is the man and who else would come out to your house to do the work, and don't try to rape you money wise. I've had him come to my house a few times (I'm lazy when it comes to working on my own stuff) and he always comes through.
Hope to see you at a meeting soon.

Hi Bob
George is a great guy. I had a trouble with my trike. The advice he gave me was invaluable

Welcome Bob, and I too have had wonderful experience with George. He's honest, an incredibly hard worker, pleasant, and I'm glad that you've been able to get in on the George Fan Club too thumpup)-
I live far from everyone down in South Jersey too, so don't feel bad if you can't make a lot of the events. There are many of us who live far, and try to get to things when we're able to.
Glad to have you aboard =wink=

Welcome Bob,
I have had the pleasure of having George work on my 74 super beetle at my home and he is truly a SJVWC treasure. I look forward to meeting you at one of our club meetings or some event in the future.
