Very Wild Car Company in Delaware is closing down. The owner contacted me today asking to spread the word to get folks to buy ALL his inventory asap! He's being evicted from the facility and have to get rid of EVERYTHING that's not bolted down! He has a few rear motorcycles and tons of VW parts(40ft trailor) and vehicles. He will be at the shop all this week and will be there on Saturday25th and Sunday26th ALL DAY! Whatever he dont sell is going to the scrapyard!!! There's oodles and oodles of doors, fenders, hoods, decklids, wiper motors, sheetmetals for all types of aircooleds, engines, trannys, beams, wheels, any kind of bolt or bracket u could think of.

Bring Cash and a TRUCK! is what he emphasized! trust me, he's gonna give alot of nice deals to get rid of stuff, he really dont want to scrap anything.

:jump4jo": got some great score today! sidepods for a shortened buggy, tracks for the buggy, 5 dist caps(new), bushings for starters 6-12V, stock cam, a bundle of valve cover seals, and a few other stuff. The tralor still looked untouched with tons of parts waitin to be bought. Saw a Z-bed and middle/rear seats for a bay bus and rear bumper for 67-earlier bus, all in really great shape. He has a set of 40mm Webers with everthing in a box, a NEW Mondo muffler, shocks, brake shoes and pads for both air/watercooleds... Oh, he has alot of WATERCOOLED stuff... It's a make me an offer type sale! he bargains the prices!

I stopped in Saturday afternoon and met a fellow veteran, Eric. We talked for about an hour. It was a little hard for me to get around but Eric said he would go look for anything I think I needed. I have to make a list, contact him and go back down. He also gave me a good price to replace the floors in my 73 Super when I get everything else done. It was interesting to hear about the couple of VW clubs that Eric was involved with in that area.

Ted and I went down there yesterday, he has a lot of stuff left, he wont sell any tools - bummer
I really don't need anything that he has, except maybe 1 or 2 things, Ted found some things he likes - he will go back and get them.. he is thinking he is buying a bug.
Eric said everything he does not sell, will be compacted - which is really sad .. he has a quite a lot of fenders, hoods, etc. Said he met with Savich, who was supposed to come down and get stuff but never has/did. I wish someone would take it all, hate to see it be crushed.
He has a few type 4 engines there..
I intend to go down again
