I know that we have a lot of IPhone ( & Apple products in general) users here, and Android users as well.
Could you give me some of the pros and cons of each, from your experiences?
I currently have an Android, but when it comes time for my upgrade I am considering an IPhone. }dunn--
Any input you could provide would be wonderful. Thanks! byeby.,

You can play Simpson's on an android. If you are camping at a campout and get lost, some of the members with iPhones can drop a pin for you. Though I've heard that apples MAP App sucks, not sure if you can get google maps on an iPhone. Have you tried typing on an iPhone? Its like the Ghia, you want to try it out before you make a decision. I would love an iphone but I think my credit is too poor to qualify. Personally id go with iPhone because I'm a Mac guy. Tmobile doesn't car the iPhone which is where I'm stuck.

I never used a Android so I don't know what it can or can not do but I do LOVE my iphone and it's very easy to use without much thought. I don't think I will ever change to another brand. Iphone has always been the standard that others still try to emulate, I think that says a lot.

Karen,
I do IT for a living, and live in a Microsoft world 9 to 5, and hate apple with a passion.
That being said, I have had an iPhone since the first one. It is by far the best easiest to use smart phone on the market. Yes, as soon as a better non Apple phone comes to market I will be there. But for now the iPhone is the winner hands down.
Oh, I should also mention that Android operating system is venerable to viruses and there are some already out in the open, and there are none for iOS... Mostly everyone I talk to has some sort of odd issues with their Android phones, many have to reboot at least once a day...

I too worked in IT as a C.E. and IT manager for many, many years but open to new tech stuff
I have a Samsung Galaxy and love it..
Besides I refuse to buy a IpHone just because everyone else has one..
Oh-oooo BTW did you know that Samsung made Iphones for Apple up untill recently.. So think about what that says?
Worldwide Samsung is the most popular and by far the most powerful processor.
Currently Iphone is #1 with Samsung close beind and quickly closing the gap.
So-oooo trust me it won't be long before Iphone is over taken..
Try one your really Like it-ttttttttt.

Both Android and the iPhone are great phones, Overall Apple products tend to be a bit more consumer friendly and often more intuitive. iPhones have more apps available to them than any other phone but this all comes with a price. They are more expensive than Android phones. I had a Blackberry awhile ago and got my first iphone two years ago [I still have it]. Its' an awesome product. If you can swing it, I highly recommend it.
Plus, you can get cool covers for them

I too am an IT guy... I currently have an iPhone 5.
Here's my 2@cent
Apps are great.
Siri Sucks
As a phone, excellent. Very few dropped calls (AT&T. Was Sprint. AT&T better)
The way it interacts with Microsoft Exchange... Not a fan.
Separate phone books causes too many problems. Lost contacts, duplicate contacts. It's maddening
I have a demo Galaxy S3 coming. I need to use it for a while before I pass judgement.
I almost want to try a Windows phone..... But that's just crazy talk
Stay tuned
