Just returned from my annual "Get Out Of The Lousy New Jersey Weather For A Couple Of Weeks" Vacation.
A Princess Cruise took me back to Cozumel Mexico in which I remember that 20 years ago, the city was filled with air-cooled VW taxis. And the whole town smelled like you started up your old VW in a closed garage.
Now, all the Beetle taxis are gone and in their place are Jetta's, Toyota?s compact Chevy"s and Nissans. It seemed like some of the old Taxis have been converted to a unique Baja in which they rent to tourists, as well as Dune Buggies and scooters.
The red Jeep/Hummer is also an air-cooled VW, similar to the one in our club.
