There is a book out called "Thinking Small" by Andrea Hiott .About the life of Ferdinand Porsche, his struggle to produce the beetle and then have it taken away. It talks about Ben Pon  importing the first VWs into the Netherlands and of course the amazing ad campaign  in the US. Good reading.  %$oldcit
