Hey guys, just seeing if you guys have any recommendations for an Irish Pub for the March Dub N' Dine. If not it'll be at Connie Mac's in Pennsauken.
Let me know,

Thanks Ant, do you know from personal experience? Connie macs food isn't that good. I'm trying to avoid crossing the river till we get German Food in April.
-
Small place good food. In westville
-
How about the Irish Pub?
-
i would only suggest Connie Mac's if you want to drink a bottled beer and sit on the deck. Food is only ok and i would only get their happy hour special.
-
The Irish pub where?
-
not sure if they are outside of philly or not but i think the Pour House (Westmont) is an Irish Pub. great food and huge beer selection.
-
Dubhlinn Square in Cherry Hill has good food. Been there many times. Good beer selection, maybe not as good as the Pour House, but the menu is much more extensive than the Pour House. That said, Pour House makes a GREAT burger. I think there is also a Dublin Square in Sewell. I think the spelling is different. Don't know if they are same owner.

There is an Irish pub in Main Street in Voorhees I think good chili and plenty of parking
-
Been to the Main Street Pub many times. We like it. Good food and good atmosphere.
But... if you are looking for the "Irish food experience" there is absolutely nothing Irish about the menu.

I would definately like the Irish food experience. I love Irish food.
I only know of a place or 2 in DE though.

Don't know if the foods are similar, but if we can't locate an Irish place there is a British place in Haddonfield called "The British Chip Shop" which is pretty good, BYOB, and they do serve an Irish Stew. Brittan is near Ireland...
Here's their menu: http://www.thebritishchipshop.com/menu/lunch-and-dinner/ (http://www.thebritishchipshop.com/menu/lunch-and-dinner/)

I heard that place was pretty good. I can't read the menu from my phone.
Do they have bangers and mash, or cornbeef and cabbage?
-
Richard
British Chip Shop is strictly British. Great food, but not sure how similar it is.
Lets go with Dublin Square
-
There's Lazy Lanigans (http://www.yelp.com/biz/lazy-lanigans-publick-house-sewell)in Sewell There food is ok
Been There a Few Times.

I just checked the menu For Dubh Linn Square. Their website was appealing, their menu looked good, and just throwing this out there...
There's Dubh in the name.
Dub & Dine @ Dubh Linn?

I'm cool with any place that is an authentic Irish Pub, with authentic Irish food. 2@cent

I agree. You can get Irish beer at alot of places. I'm more into the authenticity and the ethnicity of the food and atmosphere than their selection of beer.
