Just wanted to let everyone know that my grandfather passed this morning. He was a role model to me and so many of my friends. He was an amazing man. He got me into the vw's, and taught me so much about them. The garage won't be the same without him

Sorry for his passing Ant I talked to him when JackWagen and I first came over and then at the Shamong Diner when you first drove the Bus over. Nice fella!!!

Ant,
Very sorry to hear about Pop passing. I did not know him but I know he was special to you. My condolences.
As a teacher of Auto for 32 years I know the bond that can be built between a student and mentor. Students still keep in touch with me. Many times they share things with me that I didn't realize made a difference for them.
Remember Pop still lives on in you with experiences and knowledge! =+grouphu9

Ant, so sorry to hear of your Pop's passing. Deepest condolences to you and your family. Remember that he will always be with you and will live on through you, as you take the knowledge he shared with you and use it in your mutual passion for vw's.

I 1st Met Anthony and his G-Pop 8-10 years ago when I went to see a Bug that I saw advertised. I don't think that Anthony was even driving yet. His Pop was brimming from ear to ear on His and Anthony's achievement / build.
I last saw and talked with G-Pop and G-Mom as they were resting comfortably on the Bench seat of his beloved Bay TinTop @ DOB's he was happy to be out and about and enjoyed the wonderful event.
It was always a pleasure to meet the talented gentleman and to know that he passed his ethics and skills to his beloved grandson Anthony to carry on in style.
RIP Pops, you will be Missed by all, but none so much as young Anthony bawlin)0
My condolences to G-Mom, and the entire family in this time of a loss of a Loved one..
