Hey everyone, as some of you might know, I am planning a trip to Yellowstone with my daughter in late June, as long as my bus is ready that is!
Anyway, I found a great road trip planning site http://www.roadtrippers.com (http://www.roadtrippers.com) It is very well done, not only does it give you mileage of each leg, and total estimated fuel costs, it also helps find great things along your route, they also have an iphone app, I could go on and on, I am a big fan of the site. It may take a minute to learn the site but IMHO its worth it!
Here is the trip route I have planned, enjoy!! I am open to any an all suggestions to help make the trip better for my daughter and I !!!!

Marc,
That sounds like an incredible and memorable trip, especially with your daughter - very special memories will be made, so bring a good camera. I think you and talked about Yellowstone before, and believe you were there once already. It is such an incredible place, nothing else like it anywhere else on the planet, it is so beautiful, and so incredibly bizarre. Just make sure you bring the essential tools and parts, and you should be set. Sounds like a fantastic trip. Hopefully you can stay in touch at points along your trip for updates.
Not sure if you have any additional time to see any other national parks... there are some great ones around Utah, which looks to be out of your way tho'

Matt,
Yes, I am very excited for the trip! You are on target, I am borrowing a good camera, and it will be the only electronics allowed during the drive out, well while we are driving that is! I was out in yellowstone when I was the same age as my daughter, and had a wonderful time. I now have the mobile app for flickr so I can upload photos as we go!!!
Utah, is a bit further than we are planning, but there is always another time :-)
Cheers,
Marc
