Finally doing an AirRaid for myself... We'll Almost
I almost sold the Champagne but I got to thinking that eventually I'd be working on some rust bucket for another club member... My daughter Steph. So why sell one of the cleanest buses I've ever owned. So here's the plan...
Don't worry she never goes on here. She's a facebooker so no mention on SJVWC FB.
The motor is out and sealed. Just needs the tins and the FI re-installed
The tank is out so it and all new hoses go back in.
Should be able to get it running by afternoon at which time BBQ is on me
Come for as long as you can. Or if you can't make it early, come after lunch
When we're done, we'll give her the keys and the title! So mums the word
She'll be assisting at 3gears and the Champagne AirRaid.

This Saturday & Sunday is part 2 of the Champagne Overhaulin'
We're putting her back together....
Saturday will include putting all the "stuff" back on the motor and doing the left side corner replacement
Front Brakes (and back after the welding on the corner is done. )
Glass remove and reinstall (after rust repair around window frames.
Sunday we'll do everything that wasn't done saturday
This build will include things we havent covered before like sliding door repair, glass remove/reinstall and major body work
As allways we'll have coffee & donuts for breakfast & lunch will be served as well
Remember on Sunday my daughter Steph will be receiving the keys & title for this bus! She doesn't know so don't let it slip!
We'll tell her the good news just after everybody gets started... That way we get a QUALITY day of work out of her! HAHAHA!

Nothing... The track cover has to come off to treat the rust under the window so I might as well service the track/slider while it's offWhat kind of Donuts? #@rofl3 &^rofl

Did you get a new rollar and nylon piece? Maybe now is the time to put the tape on the track.

Ant is coming tonight.
We will install the quarter panel this evening so we're not in the way of the brake crew.
If you want lessons in major panel replacement, c'mon over tonight!
