Hey my southern brothers and sisters, details are confirmed and everything is set. The Paul Goerz Memorial Mustache Ride is gonna be a mellow 45 mile cruise through the backroads of New Jersey ending at the Chatterbox Drive-in a pretty cool, period '50's drive-in diner. After that, folks will head back to the Panther Lake campground to spend the night. Some folks are planning on spending both Friday and Saturday night. Last year [the second cruise] we had 50 cars in the cruise, this year we are expecting even more. I hope to see some of you southies there!

Is this only open to air-cooled ?

As long as it's a VW, you are welcome to come. You might get stuck at the end of the line, but you'll have the best view in the house!

I can understand ur situation, Karen. But these guys always invite the club for things and sjvwc never makes an appearance.

Sounds awesome, and I wish we could make it... I love cruising with lots of Vdubs! But unfortunately it's the end of the semester so we can't make it.

The stupid inter-club animosity that was in the past died years ago, so don't worry about that. Most current members arent even aware of it. CJVWS is always gracious, and we appreciate it. Heres the problem...
Most of us like to "cruise" for a couple of hours, and then put the baby to bed. Although the name of the club is Central Jersey, lets face it... It's North Jersey. Two hours away to the START of the event. Its difficult to get people to show up for local cruises.
Flanders is our big CJVWS event. We've been light the last few years but we will be there in FORCE this year.
Ramon, you are the die-hard in the group... CT was a piece of cake for you thumpup)-
