Details-
The party will be held at Tuscan Bistro on Sunday December 12th from 11am-3pm.
The menu- which may be subject to change- starts with a garden salad with choice of dressings, then comes a pasta course- stuffed shells or ravioli. Mixed Vegetables and for the main course your choice of Chicken Francaise, Roast Beef or a Tilapia in a butter, wine and lemon sauce. Dessert will be a choice of Chocolate or Limoncello cake. Cant decide what to have? Don't worry! It's a BUFFET!!!! Coffee, tea and soft drinks will be offered and it is a BYOB. The restaurant also has wine for sale (wine is not included with the club price of the dinner- you will have to pay for your own)
ALL OF THIS! For the paltry price of just $10 a head. This price will cover the cost of the member and their guest. If you would like to bring additional guests, they will be $20. If you have a family membership each one of those members will only be $10 each.
As part of the afternoons program we will be holding our famous club auction. All members are asked to bring a gift basket or bucket of what ever you may like to donate to the club. They don't necessarily have to be car related. Tickets will be sold for the silent auction so you may be able to pick up some pretty nice stuff for just a few bucks worth of tickets.
As part of the event we will be having the swearing in of the new Board of Directors and well as the awards ceremony. The Dubious Achievement awards given out to honor or dishonor the members who have selflessly made the club what it is today. Or has embarrassed his or herself to the extent that they actually deserve special recognition for such misdeeds. Other awards like the Golden Screwdriver award to the hardest working member and the coveted Bud Ward Award- given to the member portraying the image, ideals and values set by the club and by Bud himself.
Joe will have entertainment in the way of his famous Challenge contest as well as the always impossible to ace- Volkswagen Quiz.
So RSVP NOW! Payments will be excepted here or in the club store- there will be NO "at the door" sales- we need to have a solid guarantee for the restaurant. The Cut Off Date will be Monday December 6th at the monthly club meeting. Payments can be accepted at the meeting but we prefer if you use this link.
