Title: Replace Axel Boots
Post by: lovebus (jack) on November 18, 2007, 12:51:47 pm
When doing Axel Boots you should place the seam at aLmost 3 o'clock. (a little more then this Pix) This way when the axel is moving up & down you will be putting less stress on the seam of the boot by letting it bend with the axel.
Do not put the seam stright up as it will be stretching the seam when the axel moves up and down, and can tear or may cause oil leaks
