Our friends in Maryland (Strictly VW's)have a problem, Anyone in DE (Ramone) or PA have any ideas to help them out. They put on a great little show and I hope It don't go by the wayside
To our members and subscribers,
As of today we have lost our venue for the Aircooled Extravaganza. Hard economic times have caused Dover VW to have to drop the show and sponsorship of our trophies. We still plan on having the show and at this time we're desperately searching for a new venue. We'd like to reach out to our friends, members and fellow VW clubs at this time for help and suggestions. First of all, we're not a rich club. As our members know we're loose knit, come and go as you please and don't collect dues. We would need a location that someone is willing to let us use as a sponsorship. We would be more than willing to mention their name more than a few times throughout the show. We also want a location people are willing to drive to. It seems like our show is just old enough now that we've established a regular group of participants. We still want you at our show! You guys make or break our show so we want to be sure you're willing to be there! We're close to the beach, so that's always an option. You want us further north? Let us know! We'll take everyone's opinion into consideration when choosing our new location. We also know that beggars can't be choosers. :-) Let us know if you have any ideas.
