Title: Closest Campout in South Jersey (aka Buses In The Barrens)

What a great weekend it turned out to be, I guess the storm off the coast had something to do with the overcast sky's and nice breeze we had. Most of us had to use sleeping bags at night and it looks like it will be the same tonight. Sad thing I had to come home today for an appointment and the people canceled till tomorrow &(rage_

We had an over abundance of food as always and even fed some of the other campers, this morning we had breakfast one and breakfast two, started out having gravy and biscuits and sausage at our campsite then moved to Yucel's for pancakes and the sausage was home made by Wayne. =+grouphu9 As always a greatr time with Great friends!!

Jen, Betty and I Had a great time camping.

I really enjoyed the  @campfiresmiley Jack did a Great job keeping it going.(https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-eN2vb3C8aLc/Tj2wL666xII/AAAAAAAAHI0/wUUG00rLLro/s128/DSCF7133.JPG) He was a Great Stand In for the Fire Lady who was feeling under the weather. Wayne Had some Homade Jerkey and some sausage that was out of this world (https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-HesAFJi8f88/Tj2w2X3pGGI/AAAAAAAAHLg/hPWs9va3LEg/s128/DSCF7166.jpg) and Mexican night was Off the Hook. Betty was knocked out for the whole trip home.(http://www.jonrb.com/emoticons/sleeping.gif) We had to leave for a prior engagement and were going to come back, but decided to pack up with threat of rain comming. I don't think they got much *9rain) there.

  We (Kathy,Heidi,Herman and myself) all had a great time. I haven't been serious camping for decades. Some of my equipment was vintage and needs some serious upgrades but it didn't dim the fun or relaxation. The campground was beautiful and there were hundreds of  sites, mostly empty, all offering views from light or deep forest, to lake views. Just to walk or bicycle around was a scenic treat. As always SJVWC seems to attract people. The variety and quality of food was outstanding. A tip of the hat to all the off road chefs.

I'm so glad you guys came out!!! It was a blast & Tracy and I got to know Kathy & the Kiddies!

Spaghetti & camping go together! Who knew????

This was the Best SJVWC campout so far. We will definately be holding our own event there.

Had another great camp out! I love you guys! I cant believe everybody left, because it sprinkled for what seemed like 10 minutes and was clear until Matt and I left around 9! Hope to see everyone at Flanders!

I was waiting for my peeps outside a convenience store in the nearby town when I saw a young woman
(20ish) come out and open the firewood cage for these four dudes that had come up camping... in an Acura. They picked up two of those cellophane-wrapped bundles of firewood and one of them turned to the girl and asked "How long will these last?"

We had a good time too!  **^bana0    Bummer to leave early, but I wasn't feeling 100% so rain or no rain, it was better I went home to bed.  What a great turn out!! It was nice getting to chat with some new folks around the fire.  We gotta have another like this!!

And I know some people had their doubts if Mexican night was a good idea for a camping trip... but I think that was one of my favorite meals yet!!  22CLOUD9)
