Title: SLAM N SLUMBER Party will be held on October 8th and 9th
Post by: lovebus (jack) on September 23, 2011, 11:23:23 am: I'm hopped up for this already! The biggest bonfire of them all!! @campfiresmiley

For those that want to go the slow easy route and making a stop at Ihop on the way, we will meet at the DMB on the DE side just after Toll Both as always. @ 10am.

This is one of the best campouts/ shows of the year!! And this will be the last year, so I'm sure we'll all do it up to go out with a bang!!

Bring your valve cover racers (dont think there are any rules for this one).

What should we eat (after iHOP , of course)??? Its usually kinda cold at night for this one.... we need something that will warm us up! Do you guys like broccoli cheddar soup? I know a guy who makes a good one... he purees brocolli and carrots so its nice and thick and filling.

On Sunday the organizers of Slow Riders have a BBQ and you can buy some type of hot sandwich... we usually just do that for lunch to support them. We will of course cook breakfast ourselves though.

Did anyone make a trophy for the club to present? 2 years ago we picked our club's favorite and presented a trophy during the ceremony. Bud made it... last year we didn't have one to present. These guys present some of the best and unique trophies I've ever seen so we need a real piece of art... Any volunteers?

Instead of meeting at the DM Bridge at 10am we are just going to meet at the iHOP in DE at 10:30 am. If anyone wants to meet up before that (Shawn???) let me know.

Even if you aren't going to SlowRiders, join us for breakfast! Hope you (& USAir) can make it by 10:30 MugMan!

Sorry we couldn't make it... we miss camping & you Jack! Roast a marshmallow for me! @campfiresmiley
