Title: linkage on weber 44s
Post by: samstrings on March 02, 2013, 05:59:41 pm
:confused04:;I inherited a project 70 bug that is in the baja process, the engine is rebuilt as is the trans and the car is stripped down and straight for paint which is the next step . It has a pair of weber 44s with the hex rod linkage but the project came to a halt when I cannot find the clevace(?) to bring the throttle cable to the arm off of the hex rod. Such a simple piece has the bug stalled. Any ideas ;I've scoured the web and visited the local speed shops and been told that I have to fabricate it myself. That can't be!

Try emailing Weber/Redline's parts department

redline@redlineweber.com or calling 800-733-2277  (west coast time)

Hopefully they'll have what you need.  FYI, our own Pete screen name slowtwich, makes a killer cable setup

Hi Shawn, The picture you posted was one of the early prototypes :)  Here's the prototype for folks who have heat....
