I have a home group but from their it says I'm not connected, I'm lost.

Opps, my bad. My main computer dont have WyFi but I have it hard wired to the router. and my laptop can be hard wired.

I know I set it up before but remember nothing of what I did, or where to find the network

I'll keep trying.

Jack, find the Properties tabs for the hard drives in question and be sure that "sharing" is enabled. You may have to do it for each drive on each computer. That worked for me once when I was having trouble "seeing" a drive on another computer.
