Edward (Bud) Jones

Edward (Bud) Jones, age 89, passed away on Friday, July 18th, at his home with his wife Thressa (Terri) at his side, after a short illness. Bud and Terri had just celebrated their 68th anniversary and have had many beautiful years traveling and spending quality time with family and friends.

He retired in 1977 from DuPont in Deepwater. Before moving to Bridlewood in Deptford, he lived in Mantua for 52 years in their home that he built.

Bud kept busy building Grandfather clocks, making rocking horses and tiffany lampshades and spent many days doing repairs to their home, such as climbing a ladder and fixing his own roof only 3 months ago. He was always helping family, friends and neighbors. He also owned a 1966 VW Bug which was his pride and joy.

 Rest in peace Bud

Buddy. Sorry also to hear of the lost of your Bud. Saddly also to think that His hobbies, and talents will also become a lost art. Heck who even buys a Grandfather clock today let alone able to build one, stainglass art is also becoming a lost craft, and tomorrow these talents will just become more lost art. Todays kids have no idea the skills that they could hold in their hands.

 Peace..
