Gota get a tire pump
« on: July 29, 2008, 11:10:11 am »

After seeing Marks tire pump in action I just have to have one in my bus. I put a Cigarette Lighter in the bus this morning for a power source and Harbor Freight has the pump on sale for $6, so I'll be running down to pick one up.  bus))

I keep one of those Harbor Frieght pumps in my Sienna to blow up mattress for camping. They work great.

Jack,

did you ever get a look at that jumper box I carry around?
Its got a set of built in jumper cables & battery ( puts out around 50 amps )
an air pump & gauge, a built in light and a socket to run 12v accessories. I found it at one of those "Odd Lot" stores for around $35.00. Its bailed my butt out a couple of times as well as jumping cars ( mostly Franks VW ) at shows & stuff.

wow that sounds like a good idea.  I was thinking about getting a tire pump too but I'd have to install a cigarette lighter.  something that could jump me in a pinch that could also do the tires--now you're talking.   Thanks Bob

That sounds neat Bob. Does it come with a nozzle for filling up the gas tank. I know somebody that could use that.

Jack, how could you of all people not have a cigarette lighter in your ride. Had one installed in mine before it even ran  :icon_cheesygrin:

I need to get another one of those. I had bought a Black & Decker unit but it was bad right out of the box  m-d &m& m-d2 I should have known better than to buy anything with the Black & Decker name on. Junk in my book. If anyone has one of these jumpers boxes that work please let me know what brand it is.
