I ran through DMV this morning and it was not as bad as I thought.

I learned a few things from the guys at the Inspection Center.

A) Auxiliary lights no longer need to be covered

B) You can't have more than 2 auxiliary lights ANYWHERE on the vehicle
    (I have to remove 2 from the light bar on the roof, and cant have the ones on the bumper)

C) Aftermarket Steering wheels are legal (they didn't used to be)

D) Exhaust sustem must have a heat shield to "keep little kids from burning their fingers"
    (I'll install something ala American Choppers that screw to nuts welded the muffler & pipes)

E) "WINK" multi panel panoramic mirrors aren't legal (even though they're far superior to stock)

F) You dont need 4-ways (at least on a 65)

G) You DO need a blade on your wiper arms (DOH!)

They didn't check my 4 ways on my 72 either, thank god b/c the knob would have fallen off in their hand and they don't work anyway!
