In this economy, I think I'd just sooner sell the car. Neither is an option I want to entertain. I was also thinking about the steel plate option, like a mini ramp to cover the slope. Anyway, thanks

You dont need to move. Just install one of these on your steering wheel.

yews can puts on some of them there rolers like the mutorhomes haves on them to helps eaze the car over the hump-d-bump. Thats or get yewselfs a stop sine or somethings likes it and mont uner car as a skid plate thats what we haves uner the BajaSq3  it helps a bunch.

Those air shocks with a little 12v airpump will work. You could also just stash a  small Air Tank.  My Dad put them on all 4 corners on his van Camper  $61$ now he can adjust each corner of the van on the fly  !fright! and Cheeper than that Airkewed air rides set up.

Regular set of Gabriel Hi-Jackers will do. Take a front shock to Pep Boys and match it up.
I think a 72 Chevelle (rear) has pins on top & they're skinny enough
