idle time, waiting on parts
« on: February 21, 2010, 09:21:56 pm »

Well we are nearing completion of the chassis for the VWartporsharu and Im waiting on a few little parts to button it up.  Had a nice day today but not much to get done and I was in no mood for more fiberglass work so I went into detailing mode.  It's amazing how much crud can accumulate on transmission in the decades of a VWs life.  So a few hours of scraping and cleaning, then some sanding and polishing, paint and clear and all that jazz.

Kinda goes against the spirit of BABE and the 24 hours of Lemons, but our final event the GRM Challenge does have a concourse judging so this is preparation for that.
