Great day, was a really cool show, nice people & a pleasant ride to get there. Me, Bob (Herbie) & Jim had a great time. Can't wait to go again next year. Quite frankly I was surprised with how many people were diggin our Rigs & stopped to talk to us. We also gave out some clubs flyers & spread the good word about our great club. Ton of VW people out there that don't know about us & are looking for a place to belong.

Mark,
Great pictures! I think I see a Rat trend? Herbie represented the club very well by winning a trophy! I'm glad you and Jim enjoyed the show. So many cars to look at. It seems to get better every year.

I agree with Bob, great pictures. I would love to be able to join you guys some day soon but going into Hahnemann on Tuesday to have a tune up and my oil changed  (Ha Ha)
For now I'm living on nitro ~ not the kind you use in race cars.
Maybe later (I hope)

Congrats on the trophy Bob.

What Jim said, Herbies are always a great draw at shows especially with the kids, I'm sure your trophy case will fill up fast.

Jack, I'm no longer surprised with kids and families enjoying Herbie. What amazed me was that all the judges came to look at Herbie after he showed up on several of the other judges clip boards.
I think some of the contestants were suprised as they came by to look at Herbie as we were packing up to leave. I was waiting to make sure a couple of older (sorry) buddies with 6 volt antique cars started. So we were just about the last to leave about 3:45.

Bob thanks for the prayers keep them coming, I go back to Hahnemann on Thursday to have a cath. put into my heart etc. worse part I hate going back to Philly.
Doc. asked me why I'm here I said to have a tune up and oil change. Found out he has a old VW bus so we hit it off real good. I told him he could operate in his garage if he wanted to ~  ha ha
