http://newjersey.obituaries.funeral.com/2012/08/06/myers-clayton-timothy/ Clayton Timothy Myers, of Turnersville, passed away peacefully at home with his family after a brave battle with a long illness on August 4, 2012.
Clay was 14 years old.
Legacy Clayton showed us the power of love, the importance of family, the meaning of hope and the compassion of strangers. He will be missed beyond measure; loved without limits and will always be a part of our past, present and future.
He is the namesake of Clayton's Hope Organization, which was started after Clay developed severe Epilepsy after a virus at the age of 6. Prior to his illness, Clay loved cooking, spending times with his family and friends and playing baseball.
After his illness, he was still able to give you a grin that would melt your heart - in spite of disabilities from the virus-he was fondly nicknamed "Clayton the Great." Family Clayton will be missed, until we are reunited again, by his Dad and Mom, Tim and Shelby Myers; sisters, Ashley, Corrine and Gabriella; brother, Ashton; Pop-Pop and Mom-Mom, Ed and Judy McGrath, Grandmom, Jeannie Myers, Grandpop, Robert Myers and great grandfather, William Akers. Clay is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Farewell Ceremony Relatives and friends are invited to attend Clay's visitation on Tuesday, 5:00 - 9:00 PM in the McGUINNESS FUNERAL HOME, 573 Egg Harbor Rd., Washington Twp. (Sewell). Those who would like to join in procession to Eglington Cemetery, please meet at the Funeral Home on Wednesday, 12:15 PM. Clay's Farewell Ceremony will follow at Eglington Cemetery, Clarksboro at 1:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Clayton's Hope Organization (for the fight against Epilepsy), 144 Johnson Road, Turnersville, NJ 08012. Tributes and memories may be shared at
