Really: how often to change oil? & oil analysis

          I had the diaphragm go on my fuel pump and the crankcase filled with gas. Fortunately I was parking when it happened.

Your carb shouldn't move fuel into the cylinders when the engine isn't running Matt.

I would like to point out that Jacks electric fuel shutoff would keep fuel out of the engine while the car sits. You could switch it off and run the carb dry.

Or I can turn my gas reserve lever to off and run it dry....
