When you want to remove the gland nut.
Very heavy duty metal - even the circle part of it, someone put a lot of effort into this drilling those holes, thick metal, can double as a lethal weapon
Will be gone in a week or so if no one wants it

Drill 5 holes in it and you could use it to tighten the axle nut
