It's a digital fuel gauge...and I bet it's response time is much slower than the cable operated one I had in my '67 Beetle   :icon_cheesygrin: Sloshy sloshy!

PS - 'voll' means Full in German...

6T5 square

Yeah but it has a cool vintage look! If I had the cash, I'd put one in the 59 seeing as I have no fuel guage anyway

$125 for an L.E.D. fuel guage?  Jack, you can build that thing for $10

32M storage isnt much.  We came up with a great solution for our rally video.  You can pick up cctv bullet cameras for about $50 (less if you surf ebay for a bargain) and a Phillips PMC7230 (or similar) which can be had around $100 (less used) these are a media recorder with a 30GB hard drive and they are small (just bigger than a pack of cigarrettes)  So for about the same price you get a solution with 30GB of storage.  Using 2 of these we were able to record the whole rally without downloading (they download easily to any computer and can be hooked to a tv for playback if desired)

As a bonus when not using them for recording you can upload videos or photos to them and use them as a personal player.  You can even connect them to your TV and use it as a DVR.

That's onboard RAM. It takes an SD card. I use a 2 Gb card and it holds 1 1/2 hours of 640x480 (AVI With sound) on 2 AA Bats. It's completely submersible and self-contained. You cant beat it for the price

Yeah, I saw it had the SD card but 2GB or 30 GB hmmm :)  Granted most people dont have a need to be recording for 4 days straight like we did (still going through all the raw footage)
I looked at those systems when we were putting ours together and they were an interesting option but we just needed more storage capacity.
