Matt, it wasn't that bad, I think I would quit if that happened again.

Bob and everyone, it was because we went over our e mail limit. I can only send 50 e mails in 300 seconds and someone hacked into Coppermine and sent out a whole bunch of e mails about buying things in China. When the Spam got up to hundreds of messages sent at one time they shut us down.
They have a Zero tolerance for Spam and they thought I was sending it. After about 6 or 7 Tech tickets back and fourth explaining what happened and checking everything I could on this end, I really got pissed at them and told them in no uncertain terms either turn the @$#%@#$ web site back on or delete the @$#%!@# web site along with the other two sites I have with them. Smoke was coming out of my ears. Five min. later the site was back up. That was around 8:30 last night.

No, that's not why it was running slow for you Bob. I don't know what happens on your end.

PS, this was their final message to me. I am going to do what they recomand and do away with coments in Coppermine.

Hello,

What you need to do is check and upgrade your coppermine gallery to the latest stable release by the vendor, install some anti-spam and security modules that the vendor recommends (captcha for eg) or disable the comment feature altogether.

I have unsuspended the account so that you can work on it. Kindly attend to it at the earliest.
