Went to order the thrust washers from BFY, googled them first to quickly find their website and noticed a rant by someone listed from the Samba. Thinking he was a loner, I was amazed to find he was no way near alone.

Everyone seems to be staying away from BFY, as they seem to be charging your card without shipping, with shipping being a few months from when you were promised - IF you get it at all!!!. Repeated  calls to BFY result in amazing lies,  stalling, promises not kept etc. It really sounds scary. This is sad  - I used them about a year ago, and did not have a prob, and used them a few times before that. Hate to have a valuable source company like that fade away from lack of business, but that is going to happen..People have filed complaints to the authorities to finally get their money back. From ALL of the stories I read, I am going to stay away from them.

You can decide for yourself - here is the link to the near end of their discussion

Just wanted to let people know.

Oh, only wanted to call BFYas Bugstuff did not have exactly what I wanted. Bugstuff guy is a cool guy. Said he saw a few of you at Campbell, and buying parts from him he said a number of you turned around so he could see the club shirt for your discounts. he said it cracked him up

That crap with BFY has been going on for a long ..long.. time.
Like I said before.. THE SAMBA IS YOUR FRIEND. If it wasn't for the samba, a lot more people would have lost money.

That must have been me & Joe. Jack AKA - Bugstuff is a good guy and usually will bend over backwards to help you out. Yea we need more vendors like that, too bad about BFY but times are tough and I'd think the weaker companys won't be around much longer but thats still no excuse!

I just skimmed the Samba about the issue. I went to BFY's website and they moved to a new location in February. When a small company with a lot of inventory moves, if they don't do it right, it can put them under. Maybe this is the case and they just bit off more than they can chew. Time will tell. My 2CENTS

I don't think I've ever ordered from them... probably won't now.

Just sad,  I use to order from them, they had some really good hard to find parts.....

now too worried to buy from them.  Maybe they can weather this  and turn for the good in a year or so.
