My experience with NJDMV for QQ tags
« on: November 06, 2010, 01:34:58 pm »

Now that both my boys are in college, the '40 Ford Kit is no longer needed as a daily driver.  I decided to save some $$ and the hassle of inspection by going QQ.......

The application for QQs say that the "vehicle cannot be altered from the manufacturer?s original design in any way."  I figured I might be more successful sending the app through the mail rather then in person at the Runnemede DMV.

As per their instructions...... I filled out the application for Historic plates, made a copy of the title and sent everything in with a couple of picture.

It went in the mail on Tuesday and I got the tags in the mail today.  Four days!!!!!!!

BOOYAH.............  Gotta love NJ.
