No air cleaner on it. It had a metal airbox around the intake, so I couldn't snuff it out with my gloves. All the dirt was frozen to the ground so I couldn't smother it... nerve racking. But the factory, 1985, VW fire extinguisher in the camper worked  **^bana0

Ah, I'm so jealous. I just have got to get a snow blower. 185' from the house to the road that gets plowed in.  Q3surrender.gif

Mark, the trick is, when you do your drivway is to do 20-30 feet of the road also so when the snow plow comes by there isnt any snow for him to block your drivway with.

or, simply buy 185' of VW's, park them all in the driveway. After the snow, start 'em up, and drive em down the road in 4th gear.  Whoosh! Cars cleaned off, driveway clear, DONE!

 Yea, and also clear a  big swath in front of your mailbox for the same reason.........
