Hay everyone, I had a great time this morning at the parade.  =+grouphu9 There had to be 3000 or more people along the route, most places they were 3-4 deep. It was cool how we went both ways on the route and the head of the parade, Dennis must have thanked me 4 times for the club showing up. LOT MORE PHOTOS AFTER THESES

Left at 6:30 to go to Jacks... Got about a block and the baja started spittin & popping.
So I spun it around and went back to the house. bawlin)0

I started with removing the valve covers, but everything looked OK.

Next step was to break out the timing light. I remember the last 2 times I timed it, the number one wire was pointed staight back, and I noticed when I went to hook up the light that it wasn't. Closer inspection revealed that the locknut on the clamp was gone. I tried to spin the distributor and it was loose.  ?/banghea?/

Baja Rule #1:
Bajas vibrate...a lot. Chit comes loose.

Installed a new nut, set #1 straight back & tightened it up.

Took it for a test drive... No more popping.  **^bana0

BTW Steering is GREAT since Jack worked his magic

Looks like everyone had a great parade, I was thinking of going, but was afraid of showing up a week early  }dunn--

Actually my back has put me out of commission pretty much over the holidays...  The breakfast looks great!
