I'm selling my 74 Super Beetle, the little guy that gave me so much stalling problems. I'm just finishing up with all the work i've done on Mindy's car, i've got the Fastback to work on and we've got another project (75 Westy) that i just purchased coming this weekend so i've got more work then i can handle so i'm looking for a good home for the second beetle we have. Since Mindy would probably sell me before she sold her little George, Paul gets the nod.
Body: passenger wheelwell has terrible rust in several spots, passenger heater channel cover is gone and frame head cover plate has rust hole through it. Pan where the battery sits is rusted through. A couple of rust spots on the trunk lid and the rear body. Paint looks good but has flaked off in some spots and has some bubbles underneath.
Engine and trans: havent run the engine since getting him going after his stalling issues but he does start. Trans turns freely and all gears work.
Brakes and suspension: brakes work and takes the bumps on jersey roads like a champ, never had any issues with either
Interior: overall needs a good cleaning, everything is there but the back seats are black in a white interior, door panels are warped at the bottoms, carpet has seen a lot of time.
I bought the car as a project to finish but there's no way i can have three projects going at once. If anyone's interested let me know
