Well, my day is sucking, it looks like I will not be able to come.  bawlin)0

I woke up to a 50 Degree house this morning, looks like something in my heating system kicked the bucket  #banghead

So I'll be spending my evening waiting for the heater repair guy...

Hang in there Marc, I feel your pain..
My heater crapped out a few weeks ago when the temps were in single digits. Called the gas company who I have a service contract with and they said my firebox was shot and "Red Tagged" and shut off and locked out my gas so the heater couldn't be used.
I had to have the heater replaced.  #banghead

So I now have heat again.
Now if I can only get water flowing back into my house it wouldn't feel like I was camping and hauling bottled water in every few days.  #banghead #banghead

But with the warming weather the roof snow is melting and providing adequate water supply via the down spouts..

Sorry 3gear. Good luck with your heater. Bring your buddy heater in if you got one.

Anyone else driving an aircooled VW to dinner tonight?
It's not to cold out today. My factory heater was sufficient for the ride home from work today.

Thanks for the well wishes, I did some basic troubleshooting/guessing at lunch; after the service company said it would be $100 just to diagnose, and came to the conclusion that it was most likely the circulating pump.  So I found the part online at home depot and I fixed it myself last night and saved myself $250!!!   The part was $100, not too bad, nowhere near the headaches that bugaru has...

Anyway, here are some pix:

Think I can polish it up?  &^rofl

There's a lot to be said about a service contract. Not too expensive, and they've fixed us every time there's been an issue. They co-op the oil purchase so we get it locked in at the cheapest price during the summer and it gets delivered (and billed) just before winter.
