Naval Air Museum Cruise

 WoW...
 I Mean WOW...

What a C@@L place this was to see. So many Years of History tucked away right here in the lower finger of our State.. Who would of Know. I guess for those back in the day who had base access maybe, but for many years it was forgotten and sold for a $1.00 and the building restored. Now filled with so many Restored War Birds, you got loss walking through the maze of aircraft. Truly History at it's finest.

We had a new member "Gordon" who met us at Murphys in his beautiful Restored Opel GT.. This car truly was the nicest Opel GT I've even seen, and I'm a Opel lover.. Hey it's German so he can cruise with us anytime..

For those who attended I'm sure there agree it was one of the coolest places we've been.. For those who missed the trip you can't appreciate what you've missed till your standing besides these magnificent planes and realize how huge they actually are..

We had a Great Tour Guide "Lenny" who pointed out things we may have taken for granted.. Wonderful, truly wonderful.. I'd do it again, and again..

Someone said Jack was there but we must have missed him 9((

As many times that we've seen these Babies in movies or the sky's above it never really sinks in how huge these Jets really are until your standing next to one..
This Tom Cat had to be the length of a Tractor Trailer and to think they land on Carriers.. WoW

This Plane was actually used in the movie Top Gun..

These  Pixs shows what the Base was like in Full operations during war time..
