Ok, here's the scouting report for anyone else who may be interested in this car as well.  Im about 70% on buying it right now but it won't hurt my feelings if someone else grabs it.

Was purchased for his daughter, she drove it awhile, was rearended, been sitting in a dry garage for 13 years now.

72 Super with autostick.  Looks to have been restored at one point in its life.  Body panels are all very nice (the ones not involved in the accident) and would buff out to a nice gloss.  VERY clean and complete engine bay.  No discernable rust in the floors or framehead.  The total rust on this car if put together cumulatively would equal about 4-6 square INCHES.  Very clean.  Had a repaint in a not quite matching the factory green at one point, decent job, did not do doorjambs or underhood.  Accident damage is primarily on the engine cover, seller has a good used one to replace.  Light damage to rear apron and driver side fender, very easily fixable.  Passenger front fender has been replaced, still in primer, good quality replacment unit.  Many new parts still in boxes and bags including 2 new chrome bumpers.  Interior is overall very good, would rate an excellent if not for the 2 front seats.  Rear seat, headliner, door panels etc are excellent.  Front seats are functional but would require recovering.  Front passenger wheel currently locked up, should free up pretty easy.

It doesnt meet the needs for the project I was going to do as its way too nice to cut up.  But its well worth restoring.   Could easily be finished up before the first cruise next year.

Still pondering it and waiting to see what turns up at e-town in the morning.
