Moving to Germany
« on: April 07, 2008, 03:56:20 pm »

So I'm packing up my bags and moving to Germany. I am on a quest to purchase a Trabant. The more see of these little cars the more interested I get!!!

Anybody know any information, about them besides they are POS's. I read that much already.

Here's the Wikipedia entry for it:  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trabant

And here's a great line from it:  "The Trabant's production method, which was extremely labor-intensive, remained unchanged, and much of the work was carried out by Vietnamese guest workers."  That should tell you something right there!

Ahh...the tribant...giving new meaning to the word "watersoluable"

They are cute but dang, stick to VWs.  Really, what a hassle one of those would be.

Still I'd own it if it was cheap....cause well, Im a car slut and Im not afraid to admit it.
