Yeah, I'm wondering what this whole Das Auto thing is all about. They had a curious ad in the NY times last sunday with the same concept. If I was going to guess it sounds like they will be coming out with a new hybrid sedan that goes fast.

If you've been to their website lately VW is supposed to have a new model out this Spring called the Tiguan.  They're billing it as a Micro-SUV but it's basically a wagon, comparable to the Pontiac Vibe, Dodge Caliber, or Subaru Forester.  They're also introducing a Jetta SportWagen.  There're your Type 3's John  :icon_thumright:

Cool idea, squashing ricers!

Funny they didn't use a new beetle for the talking car part.

Now if they could get past the 400,000 recalls the news has been beating up this week,Das is a good thing!
