Fresh Bread?
« on: April 09, 2008, 03:45:01 pm »

if you want to know how fresh the bread is in your grocery store, look at the tie that is holding the wrapper closed.  Bread is delivered five days a week, Monday Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, and the bread maker puts a different colored tie on to designate which day of the week the bread was baked:

Monday - Blue

Tuesday - Green

Thursday - Red

Friday - White

Saturday - Yellow

I really do have a life  John. When I get up around 5am to go to the bathroom, I think about all you guys getting ready for work then I go and craw between the nice warm, comfortable,  cozy soft sheets and dream about working on my car or a little yard work.

Then if it's cold , snowing or raining I turn over and catch another hour or so in the nice, warm comfortable, cozyand soft bed.

Then I get up and have my coffee and watch the moring show on TV.  Now I have to go to work on my car or I'll watch a little more TV or do some computer chit. By then I need a nap.

So you see, I am quite busy.  &&&&

Guess you like 'Modern Marvels'  (bread episode).  good choice (better than Reality TV).  The colors you mention are for Wonder brand, but be careful other smaller bakeries may not have the same code.  Guess I need a life Too LOL
