Beetle Crazy Cup Review
« on: May 26, 2008, 07:28:42 am »

So as most of you know I'm a youtube addict. I just came across this game called

BEETLE CRAZY CUP

I got the game for free   BO** using Torrents which is a file sharing device thing

Anyway

The game runs on Windows 95 and 98 and apparently it runs on XP too which is what I have on my old Dell Dunno if it runs on Vista

The game has 5 race modes in quick race mode * havn't tried the other modes yet* I'll list the cars that you start off with in each mode

Jump (Drive really fast hit boast jump as far as you can)
-Karmann Gia 2 Carb Nitro sys 1641cc 100 hp
-Beetle 2 carb nitro 1835cc 200 HP

Cross (Off Road Course  with jumps)
-Thing "Firemorf" Red Two Carb 1641cc 100 HP
-Thing "Excess" Blue SAME

Speed (Road track)
-Beetle "Oil Dragon" Two Carb 1641cc 100 HP
-Beetle "Black Storm" same

Buggy (Race on Beach and on Country Roads)
-Buggy "Contact" Body syle unknown kinda looks not a manx not really 1641 100HP
-Buggy "Surb-Bub" Same

Monster (Drive around a track avoid obstacles crush/push cars)
-Single Cab "Big Joe" 1641 CC 100HP
-Karmann Ghia "Terracotta" 1835cc 140 HP

I'd post where I got the file but if varies from day to day.

Here is a youtube video of the game
[yt=425,350]<object width="425" height="355"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/8yEcrZ8XRLs&hl=en"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/8yEcrZ8XRLs&hl=en" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="355"></embed></object>[/yt]

I guess you can purchase more cars and upgrades as you win the game.

I can send the file 49mb zipped through AOL IM I would suggest using a virus scanner b/c I don't car about my PC since it's not my main computer. I'll bring it to the meeting if anyone wants to check it out.

my favorite is the Karmann Ghia jump. Much easier to play with a joy stick

I Just won a Van Race!!! No campers though =-(

Do you know the VW Kit that kinda looks like a panel truck? Flat roof? If it's suppose to be a Square Back it's a very good image of it. They have a Manx you can purchase too.
Seems like there is a lot of bonus for being good at the game.
