QuoteThis one I took for Bob seeing the make,  - never saw one of these as a station wagon have you?  - youknow what it is... ( kinda easy)

Matt,

thats a Lakewood, Corvair wagon. I've seen that car before, he showed up at Merchantville a couple of years ago towing a small trailer with a Vespa motor scooter
painted to match the car. I think the guy is from Delaware, now how cool is that !

That must have been a great show, a Crosley & MGTC at the same show, thats not something you usually see. And about the SJVWC rep, yea we are gettin noticed! Good thing! Don't want other clubs stealing our members!  m-d

Matt, They are the "Old City Drippers", their show is the same day as our picnic. When I told Brian that he was disapointed we couldn't make it. They just started their club and they have the same name as the club Brian belonged to in St Augustine FL. St. Augustine has a section called the Old City and Philadelphia also and we all know where the Drippers part comes from.

Aaah, Darn!  I was hoping to show you something new Bob, , ..but you've been around too much!

For me, it was neat to see, never saw one.

Jack,

Did not know Brian was his name, but boy, did he ever want me to show up at the show  (and maybe be part of his club) when I told him where I lived. Ha, never could leave SJVWC!  What would the club ever do without me??        :icon_tongue:

He was persistant though about me going to the show. Thought he said it was this coming weekend. I wasnt paying too much attention to him as I was trying to set things up in a hurry. Seemed like a really nice guy though. I looked for him later but did not see him around. He never mentioned the name of his club

Na, I just have an interest in anything air cooled.
now if you really want to go nuts look up a Corvair Ramp Side Pickup, think single cab with benefits!!
