Rain
« on: May 31, 2008, 09:59:43 pm »

One of the last things I ever wanted to happen was to drive my beloved Rat in the rain. But my luck ran out today on the way back from a local show in outside of Tuckerton & the Heavens uppened up big time. But here's the good part. Had no effect on the motor even though it's exposed, used my head lights & wipers for the first time & believe it or not no leaks. All in all it was a good thing as now I now I don't have to worry if & when it happens again. drive&&

Great Marc, it’s always nice to know your doubts were unfounded.

Mark,

Just a suggestion, carry a can of WD-40, if your engine gets soaked a quick spray & wipe in your distributor cap usually displaces the moisture enough to get you running.
