A well tuned engine, properly inflated tires, well maintained wheel bearings AND a very well regulated RIGHT FOOT are some of the best ways to maximize fuel economy in your vehicle.

I've got to agree, My 1776 in the super has dual 40mm Dellorto carbs. If I keep my big right foot out of it the car still gets in the mid 20s for MPG. The ability to tune each cylinder to its own venturi must have something to do with it. Now when I had dual Kadrons the gas mileage was way down. A well tuned engine doesn't have to work as hard to push the old bucket down the road I would think this equals better gas mileage.

well, now that I have a working bed, once I get the sink/icebox installed (hopefully this weekend), I'm going to be saving something like $240/month, cause I'll be sleeping over at work in my camper three nights a week (I estimate $20 per day in gas + tolls)
